Sound Legacies in Westchase continues the initiative to celebrate the generational transmission of musical artistry: where teaching becomes legacy, and collaboration deepens expression. Through a rich tapestry of repertoire for voice, piano, and flute, this performance connects generations through the power of music, with each work chosen to reflect the evolving lineage of musical craft and connection.
From moments of lyrical intimacy to powerful emotional weight, the program spans repertoire both beloved and rarely heard, including music by Prokofiev, Handel, Bizet, Schumann, Carle Jacobs Bond, and Adam Vincent Clay. Whether drawing from opera, impressionism, or contemporary reflections, each piece explores the ways in which music communicates memory, identity, and imagination across generations.
Presented through the studios of Frances Fenton (Sound Legacies), and Adam Vincent Clay (HNAM), this evening will tell the dynamic story of legacy, mentorship and artistic growth, and share the joy of making music in a community.
