A New Chapter: Expanding Our Sound
Since 2010, the Houston New Arts Movement has stood for a vision of chamber music that is alive, intimate, and artist-led - bringing powerful performances to sacred spaces, concert halls, and the heart of the city. Over the years, we’ve introduced new works, reimagined classics, and built an artistic identity rooted in both excellence and sincerity.
Today, we’re proud to share the next phase of our story - one that deepens our mission, expands our reach, and strengthens our capacity to serve both artists and audiences.
We’re collaborating with acclaimed soprano Frances Fenton to launch Sound Legacies, a new performance series and artistic platform operating under the nonprofit umbrella of HNAM. Sound Legacies will develop and present compelling musical experiences curated by Frances, in alignment with the values and artistic direction of the Houston New Arts Movement.
This is not a separate venture: it’s a strategic growth initiative. By supporting Sound Legacies, you’re directly supporting Houston New Arts Movement (HNAM): financially, artistically, and operationally. Together, we’re building on our foundation with a new layer of vision and leadership that benefits our organization, our supporters, and the broader creative community.
We look forward to welcoming you to upcoming performances including new chamber works, vocal showcases, and interdisciplinary collaborations - all presented through the growing platform of the Houston New Arts Movement.
